Since graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2002, I have had work exhibited in several galleries in Ohio and have begun to exhibit outside the state. I am involved in several organizations related to promoting artists. I currently serve as the president of the Couchfire Collective, a diverse group of minds who work together to create events that promote the local arts community. I have been a member of the Ohio Art League since 1999, working as a volunteer, an intern, and eventually being asked to the Board of Trustees where I currently serve as Chair of the Membership and Programming Committees. I have also helped other local arts organizations, such as the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Grandview Arts Council, by participating in discussions on how to best serve artists in the community.

Always a lover of design and graphic aesthetics, I spent most of my years before art school building with Legos, reading comic books, skateboarding, and playing in bands. My interests in drawing and creating have always stayed with me. These interests have lead me through several related occupations, eventually leading me to co-found a creative design studio called ILOVETREEFORT.

Being born in Indiana, moving to Ohio, and spending many of my summers in northern Wisconsin, I consider myself a Midwestern kid. On trips around the country with my band, I have witnessed several other wonderful places only to find that I love Columbus, Ohio.
